1. Who we are

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) form a legally binding agreement between you and AndAnd Operations OÜ (“we”, “us”). By creating an account or using ONIXCREATOR, you accept these Terms.

2. The service

ONIXCREATOR is a web application for creating, importing, validating, and exporting ONIX 3.0 book metadata. You enter metadata manually or upload it (CSV, XLSX, JSON, or ONIX XML), and the service produces ONIX 3.0 XML files validated against the EDITEUR specification.

Your book metadata is processed in your browser session and is not stored on our servers. If you close or refresh the tab, unsaved work is lost — see our Privacy Policy for details on what little data we do store.

3. Accounts and access

You sign in with your email address via a single-use login link. You are responsible for keeping access to your email account secure, and for all activity under your account. You must provide a valid email address that you control.

You may not use ONIXCREATOR for any unlawful purpose, attempt to disrupt or overload the service, or attempt to access other users’ data.

4. Plans, prices, and payment

ONIXCREATOR offers a Free plan (includes 5 ONIX exports) and paid subscriptions: Pro at €49 per month and Annual at €499 per year. Paid plans include unlimited exports. All prices are stated in euros (EUR). Where VAT applies, it is shown at checkout.

Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not see or store your card details. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period (monthly or yearly) until cancelled. Charges appear on your bank statement as ONIXCREATOR.

Depending on your location, Stripe may display and charge the equivalent of the EUR price in your local currency, converted at Stripe's exchange rate shown at checkout. The EUR price is the authoritative price.

We may change prices for new billing periods. If we do, we will notify you by email at least 30 days before the change takes effect, and you may cancel before the new price applies.

5. Fulfillment

Access to your paid plan is granted immediately after your payment is confirmed. Nothing is shipped; ONIXCREATOR is delivered entirely online at onixcreator.com.

6. Cancellation

You can cancel your subscription at any time from the billing portal (available from your account) or by emailing support@onixcreator.com. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period: you keep full access until then, and you are not charged again.

7. Refunds

If you are a consumer in the European Union, you have a statutory 14-day right of withdrawal. By subscribing, you request immediate access to the service; if you withdraw within 14 days of your first purchase, we will refund the amount paid, less a proportionate charge for the period you had access, as permitted by EU consumer law. To exercise this right, email support@onixcreator.com within 14 days of purchase.

Beyond the statutory right: if ONIXCREATOR does not work for you, contact us within 14 days of your first payment and we will refund it in full. Renewal payments are not refunded — cancel before the renewal date instead. Refunds are issued to the original payment method.

8. Your content and responsibility

You retain all rights to the metadata you enter or upload. You are responsible for the accuracy and lawfulness of that metadata and for verifying generated ONIX files before submitting them to distributors or retailers. ONIXCREATOR validates structure and format against the EDITEUR specification, but we cannot guarantee that any particular distributor will accept a given file.

9. Availability and changes to the service

We aim to keep ONIXCREATOR available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted operation. We may improve, change, or discontinue features. If we discontinue the service entirely, we will give paying subscribers reasonable notice and refund any prepaid amount covering the period after discontinuation.

10. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of or related to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose. We are not liable for indirect damages, lost profits, or losses caused by rejected metadata submissions to third parties. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including liability for intentional misconduct or gross negligence.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. For material changes we will notify registered users by email before the changes take effect. Continued use of the service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Estonia. If you are a consumer, this does not deprive you of the protection of mandatory consumer-protection rules of your country of residence. Disputes are resolved by the courts of Estonia, or you may use the EU Online Dispute Resolution platform.
